I’m not a blogger. Blogging is for authoritative voices with knowledge to dispense. Fred WIlson, he’s a blogger. Mark Suster, he’s definitely a blogger. Me? I’m still trying to figure it all out.

Kind of like Tumblr.

Its kind of a blogging platform. Its kind of a music service. Its kind of a…

And here’s why I’m moving to Tumblr: the people who are already here.

I don’t like the crazy-ass numbers that are inserted in my post URLs. I don’t like the recent downtime track record. But, so many of the people whose voices I’m interested in listening to are already here, it makes sense to move.

Plus, Disqus support is a big deal for me, as is the ability to customize a few things more than I can at Posterous.

Finally, my URLs are so screwed up since I started moving my stuff from Killersoft to claylo.com, and bouncing around to different services, it doesn’t really matter anymore. Time to start fresh.

Howdy, Tumblr. I’m through moving my personal blog.
